My goal as a designer is to create unique, one of a kind, heirloom-quality jewelry that speaks to the wearer and creates a memory of a special place or time in their lives. My favorite medium is lampwork glass beads. These are miniature works of art created by hand, one at a time by artisans within the USA. They are purchased directly from the artist and never mass produced. This assures the uniqueness and the quality of not only the beads, but the jewelry as well. I want to create something that is unique and, because of this, pieces are not remade. This adds to the originality of the design. In addition to the lampwork, only quality sterling silver, Swarovski crystal, and natural gemstones are used to accent the design. Constant learning and artistic growth is important and I am continuously improving my techniques and learning ways to incorporate new ideas and mediums into art jewelry. My inspiration comes from my surroundings and travels, as well as art and the stage and screen.
