The medium in which I work is Fractal Art, which is created on a computer using specialized mathematical formulas. Every element of my work - shape, color, texture, and lighting - is controlled by these mathematical formulas, and I, in turn, control the formulas by manipulating their parameters.
Each image is composed of many different layers that merge together to create the final effect. It is then printed to the highest archival standards on photographic paper, watercolor paper, or artist canvas in signed and numbered limited editions.
I have a diverse body of work. There are three reasons for this:
- Fractal geometry embodies a wide variety of shapes and textures.
- With so many fractal vistas available for exploration, I'm really not interested in making the same image over and over.
-
I'm not the same person I was when I created previous works. I have grown, changed, evolved, regressed, remembered, forgotten, and dreamed ... and I have new things to say.
