With a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from California State University at Long Beach, Coni enjoyed a design career, primarily in San Francisco, stretching over 20 years, that included work for clients such as Levi Strauss, Southern Pacific Railroad, and The Bay Chamber Symphony Orchestra. She also taught Graphic Design at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in San Francisco. She took up painting after “retiring” to start a family and her work is in collections, both public and private, in Atlanta, Alabama, Kansas, New York, Virginia, California, Colorado, and Canada. Coni is a member of Plein Air Artists Colorado (PAAC), Plein Air Artists New Mexico (PAANM) and a founding member of High Desert Painters, an international plein air group.
